Naming cars should be mandatory, I just got mine a week ago and can't think of a name. I kinda like old man tan, hence my user name. But I'd like to give her a name she deserves lol.

I have not ever "named" a car.... But, this SC (since I started the restore-custom project) has been called a few things by the wife....

Her most prevalent name she uses is "money pit"....

I started referring to it as "the beast" (that eats money) just to get her riled up... (it works so I have to cool it...).

Money pit? Don't own horses!!! Mine are nick-named Bimmer and Benz 'cause I could own one of each if I didn't have to put my vet's kids through college.

I've named all of my cars...after horses of course!

I don't call mine anything. I would name it "the Lexus" but we have 2, so it's "my Lexus". Hence, the name now: "My Lexus". Nobody really names their cars anymore....

I do live up north, sort of. And to me "winterbeater" seems like a car that you use in the winter that can take a beating! Lol but I guess it could go both ways!

I have an actual winter beater, and as you know it takes a beating in the cold months!! but with the salt they throw on the roads here, I couldnt do it to an SC, Ill call winter "upgrade season!"
Also nothing beats winter like a cold car in the summer.
