your car looks really nice...great work

it wil be a while before i start modding mine..my brand new motorcycle got stolen...and just bought this car..and am a student..so short on funds..lol...but i am a modification junkie..so i will get into it

my main concerns now are...i dont want to put an aftermarket cd player in the center consol and ruin the look..so having a ghetto cd player tape adapter will have to do..

Hey are there any difference in trunk lids w/ the non-spoiler and spoiler sc400? I thought I heard somewhere that the ones that came w/ a spoiler were different somehow.

Ryan just get a nice double din to fill the slot. A few people have made it quite nice, mind you that our stock head unit is 2.5 din. There was also this one guy that I saw that took out the ashtray part, put in a 7" LCD and a cd player underneather, looked really nice.

Default spoiler

My 93 sc300 had no spoiler when I bought it. One of the first things I did was to add a 97+ spoiler. I ended up buying one from spoilerdepot (I think spoilerdepot.com). They sell spoilers for sc's on ebay alot of times. I saw their auction for a 97+ started at $125.00 and when I went to bid it was 150.00+. So I just called thier 1-800 number and got it for the 125 price. It also has the led strip in the back.
The quality was pretty good. Upon close inspection, there was a very small area on the rear seam where there was some minor pitting, but nothing a body shop couldn't fix for a couple of dollars.

so far i am thinking of getting the 92-96 spoiler...(right now spoiler less look is growing on me)

jimmit---i LOVE the cleared 95 tails..was that hard to do?

i will leave the emblems alone for now...cuz i have the pearl white..and i know its gonna be hard to match the color

sand gonna live without a cd player for now..gonna do ghetto tape with adapter style.lmao
Actually it wasnt as hard as I thought it would be. On a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being the hardest I would say it was a 2 or 3 to do. I spent a lot of time doing it but most of it was waiting for it to bake in a over. I heard its better to do it with it a heat gun but I didnt have time to go out and get one but a heat gun will take long but it doesnt ruin the lights. Someone said that putting it in the over makes it brittle so it can crack but i havent noticed any problem. It was a pretty simple proccess but time consuming. Good luck with the car!

Since yours is also pearl white, here's what it would look like with the spoiler and cleared lights.

Also as far as an aftermarket deck taking away from the factory look, if its done right they are not to bad.
