Default VSV for Evap?

The VSV for the evap system was destroyed in a small fire near the power steering pump. I am trying to reconstruct the whole mess. Question is can I just delete that system and plug the vacuum lines? What if any harm will that create? If I must have the system does anyone have a VSV for sale? Algia is looking for one but has not got back with me as of yet.

I see a lot of people delete the whole system and replace a catch can in its place but if your state, county requires Emission Inspection it should still be present or it will FAIL a visual.

Make a WTB thread in the classified section.
