As you all know, the rear seats of an SC are really suitable only for small children, and as I am a single male, the rear seats in my SC 400 are of no use to me. Do you guys know of anyone who makes a luggage shelf for the SC 300/400 which could be installed in place of the rear seats? I know that Toyota offered something like this as an option on the second-gen Soarer in Japan, but I have never seen anything like this for the first-generation. Seeing as the rear seats are impractical and trunk space is limited in our cars, a luggage shelf in place of the rear seats would be much more usable to me and, I would imagine, to many other first-gen SC owners. Does anybody know of anyone who makes something like this? Thanks in advance to anyone who can answer.
