harness splice is this normal

harness splice is this normal
im having ECU issues so i just got home and pulled my ECU....once i pulled the cover this is what i see....car was running great for last 8 months
is this normal or work of a mad man? not sure what year engine is in my 93, but ECU seems to be right 89661-24312

oh and ya thats the work of a mad man. dose it have a turbo? it looks like some one made runs for a afc controller

actually those splices are normal and all harnesses come from the factory that way.
what kind of symptoms does the car have?

Those are factory Toyota splices. Toyota uses the blue tape. I can provide about 20 pictures of this for proof if you'd like!

yeah thats normal the reason you guys don't notice it on yours is because I think its wrapped once more normally, but it seems the outer wrapping is not there.
