My 1jz tends to shut down after I rev it at high rpm (2.5 and up) and take it out of gear an let the engine come back to idle.. A friend told me the diaphragm next to the throttle body is ruptured cause that's what helps it idle after you pull it out of gear at mid to high rpms... Anyone have any other opinions? Was my friend right? How did the one I have now rupture? How can I keep the new one from rupturing? Ill appreciate any info
