Default CATS delete

OK here's the deal. I live in North Carolina and since my 1993 SC 400 is 15 years old + I don't have an emission test. So I can delete the cats on my car. If I do can where does that leave me with O2 sensors. Do I need them? Will the car function with out them? Good idea? Bad idea?

I removed all of mine but left the resonators in place and stock mufflers. I had the local mufflers still on and had no problems with the 02's, just left them in place.Every car will react different. If you remove you might throw a code and you might not. Only way to know is to try and see.
