Exclamation Daizen Sway Bar Question?

I just acquired a used set of Daizen sway bars, it came with the polyurethane bushings. I did a little bit of research on what I'll be up against once I install it, and was even able to download the instructions from Daizen's website. The thing that caught my attention was that, the kit came originally with a shim kit for the brackets of the front sway bars. Since what I bought are used, it didn't come with it. To the people who have Daizen sway bars, can I live without installing the shims? I'm afraid to even try it because the instructions are in bold letter and explicitly says to install the shim kit that comes with it. If I need it badly, is there anybody that can help me to scan the shim and measure the thickness so I can just get it fabricated?

I guess its the one in the red circle?

Thanks in advance!

Ok, that's good to know. As long as its safe without it, then I won't bother trying to fabricate one. Thanks!

The shim is there so that the bushing sits perfectly flat against it. I'm guessing without it the bushing will have more room (even the tiniest makes a difference) to move around and possibly fall. That's just my guess though. Good luck
