AzLex,
how many clicks are you running in the front and rear with the HA? I"m going to install my tein CS pretty soon and was curious to what you adjusted yours to. kinda scared about the rear because my 9x9.5 rear might rub. sucks!

I have 3 threads left in the front and in the back they are set in the middle. That left me with about an inch of gap between the fender and top of the tire. I want to lower it more but I need to get the fenders rolled first.

Are you sure you need to roll the fenders? You should be running a +38 and +42 (front/rear) setup...you should be able to lower it w/o rubbing...is it rubbing now (like when you hit dips or a speedbump or anything?)...if not, you won't need to roll the fenders....
The tires sit flush with the fender and it doesn't rub now but I want to have close to zero wheel gap.

Do you have some high resolution pictures of your car? Can you email me at GS430@mac.com if you do...thanks!
I was planning on takeing some tomorrow and I'll send them over.

How do you like the ride on the HA's with the 18's?

Any future plans for the car?
First I had the shocks stiff as they would go and that bounced like a honda with cut springs. Now they are close to the softest setting. Still a few bumps but still good enough for a daily driver

cool. thanks for the info! i'm currently running 245/35/19 and some 275/30/19. I have eibachs right now, but no rubbing so far. with 265, i don't think you'll rub. weird because i'm not going to roll my fenders and i have a tiny bit of a wider tire. i'm going for the same look you are in the rear.

AzLex - Thanks for the info...like Do-Luck said, you shouldn't rub at all...

Lowering it more just creates more negative camber...much like pushing it the front end down...

Compress your suspension so that the wheel tucks (push up and down on the car...be careful not to dent your fenders...), if it doesn't rub when you do this, then lowering it more will be ok...

HOWEVER, be careful when you have the car too low (like the front wheel tucked (rear wheel tuck is ok)...when you have the steering turned, and you hit a bump and if your car is too low, you have a VERY, VERY good chance of messing up your fender...

I've seen it a thousand times...
