So where do I begin. A while back my car just started sputtering and die like in the video before. I would be driving in traffic and then all of a sound it would sputter, rpms would dive and climb a bit, and then die. I changed the plugs, rotar, plug wires, dis. cap. When I was changing the plugs I noticed there was OIL in the the plug ports. So I changed the valve cover gasket as well. done.

Problem was gone for a while but now it seems out of no where its back. I can drive my car cold in the morning, 85 degree mornings, fine for about 5 minutes but then when its up to temp it dies. Please take a look at the vids if you can spare a few moments. Thank you!

The first video is the car dieing. You can hear a hissing noise and a clicking noise. I have no clue what that clicking or the leaking noise is...


The second video is me starting up the car again after it has died twice. After the car is started I did NOT touch the gas peddle. It just did that on its own and died and again you can hear a hissing and clicking noise from the engine area.



Please guys, I really need some help on this issue. any feed back would be appreciated. Thank you

 

In addition I just did the fuel pump 12v mod and no results

Could be your Idle Air Control Valve.

 

My car is doing the exact thing.

did you get it fixed spitfire? Ive been away and will be back home tomorrow to try and work on it some more... I had a mechanic take a look at it but he wasnt too helpful just wasted some money... =/
