Mine worked until' I ripped everything out. The keypad on the side of the wheel worked to dial too. Was pretty cool. I took out the phone in the center armrest because I needed more storage space.

Wish I could get rid of the antennae base in the rear window but apparently you need to replace the whole window.

What sucks is that we can pick them up fairly cheap now in comparison, but I have heard that it is a PITA to do. You need the NAK amp and such. I think that the speakers were also upgraded for the NAK system. Not sure though.

Anybody here bother to do the conversion? It's probably not worth it since modern audio has probably surpassed NAK in sound quality. I don't know. I'm not an audiophile. I do know that sometimes audiophiles do seek out vintage equipment because the sound is purer than the modern electronics.

Well I guess its good that I already have it, I think the only options I dont have is a spoiler. I heard messing with the stereo is a PITA because alot of the grounds run through it or something along those lines? Also the keyless and stereo have some kind of connection?

Not a great picture but that's the passenger side rear seat.
So that's what the "hidden" spot behind the rear sears are for! I even made a thread about it.

I don't think it was designed to be put there because they chid have just as easily put it in with the keyless computer. But anyone who has a carphone should have it there. I'm still curious about the little plug that sits right on the tunnel.

My SC has the antenna on the rear windshield.
Now I kinda want the Lexus Phone (working), just so I can use it, and be like "Yo my car came with this lol".

So that things under the back seat?
Funny, I pulled the seat just the other day, I didn't notice it ...
I wonder if it can be taken apart and used for anything else?
Anyone here read 2600 Magazine by any chance?
