Default Adaptive front-lighting system

I have 2006 RX400H with an adaptive front-lighting system that is malfunctioning. The warning light in the instrument panel keep blinking whether I have the AFS on or off. The AFS somestimes starts working and then stops - doesn't seem to be a pattern. I really don't need the system but I don't know how to fix it or disable the blinking warning light besides taking it to a Lexus dealership. Has anyone had this problem and is there an easy fix?

^^^^ I was hoping as well. Would be even better if someone also did a DIY, would of been cool.
