^^^ Dont do it! Save another couple of hundred bucks and get Earl Scheib, amco or some kind off one day paint job. But oh well its your car. To op post pics asap, Im thinking of getting same color when I reapint my sc.

I know you have to be excited, as I was after my first swap. lol. I am sure the car will much better than it did in the pictures you posted. Make sure you take a lot of pictures in the progress, makes the thread so much more interesting. Good luck and I hope it turns out better than you anticipated.

lol I have alot of body work and painting experiance and ive already done the door and i really like the way it looks.

Also im saving for an LS430 so im going the route that can save me the most cash.

Yep your car is sunburnt lol, I am going to plop the 6k down for a good paint job hopefully this winter if everything goes well.

1400? damn are they even painting it in a booth? and is it a one man job? bc materials on a budget paintjob already cost ~600. higher quality paints/clears and materials should be around the 1k range and your car needs alot of prep to be considered done correctly. gl on the paintjob

That's nothing for flaking paint, you should see the Hyundai elantra's faded and flaking paint.
