Default Is this normal for a 94 SC400

Hey guys just wanna make sure this is normal, which I doubt.
I have an sc4 and when I slowly rev it in park it wont let me pass 2k.
On all my previous cars when I rev it slowly or fast it goes pass 2k.
If i mash it a bit harder then it wont let pass 3k, it just kinda drops back to idle. I can fully stomp on it and it'll redline but just dies when I slowly rev it. Just making sure this is normal and if isnt then find out a solution.
I dont really feel a misfire and no chk engine lights.
Thanks guys.

I know someone who read this knows :l
You dont have to tell me what it could be, but at least try to help and say whether your sc does thos or not.

most cars with an automatic have a type of rev limiter while you're in park. not sure if its the same on the SC400 or not though

Oh ok, because none of my previous cars have had this. Thanks I appreciate it. Does the sc3 have the rev limiter?

No it's not normal, neither of my SC400s ever did this.
