can someone direct me to thread for bypassing factory amp
Hey guys, I thought once that I found directions on how to bypass the factory amp located in trunk but now I can not find it. Its a 92 sc400

its a Nak. I want to install a new amp but keep factory head unit. I saw the really nice write up but did not see where it talks about bypassing factory amp. thanks Mike

Well essentially you take the output speaker wires from the nak, cut them, and then run speaker wire all the way back to the trunk where you cut the output speaker wires from the amp and plumb your new speaker wire into those. It generally talks about that onion the writeup but some of the wiring may be a little different based on you not having the pioneer system.
