Hey Guys,

So when my starter went out in October, I decided to park it for the winter. After all, the SC isn't the greatest winter car anyways. 6 months later I ended up taking it to a trusted mechanic to do the Starter/Timing Belt/Water Pump/Drive Belt. Car drove extremely well (maybe because I have been away from it for a while), very responsive. I topped up with 94 Octane on the way home, to help level out the half tank of old gas

The next day I went to take it for a spin and the battery had died down so I gave her a boost and she ran quite well for about 30 minutes or so, when all of a sudden the TRAC Off light started flashing intermittently - still drove fantastic though.

About 5 minutes later it gave me a check engine light with the Trac OFF light flashing and went into limp mode. I parked for about a minute or two and restarted, drove per usual.

A similar event happened about a year ago, and after a restart, never again.

Just wondering if anyone else has had an experience like this.

 

I had the same lights, mine turned out to be the shift solenoids.
