You dont buy a bra, and repaint your bumber cover. Thats the correct solution. BTW, ask for 5-6 coats of clearcoat. Let bugs try and chip THAT. I had that done on mine, and looks great. NO CHIPS in nearly 1 year.

I know some guy in a TT SC3 in florida has like 10-11 coats of clearcoat over his onyx black. Looks like a wet dallop of paint driving down the road. His car was a feature in a magazine like Import Tuner or something.

 

Is there any drawback of having your car clearcoated 10-11 times?
My car's clearcoat is starting to delaminate and loosing its shine.
And I'd like to have a paint that is as glossy as the cars featured in megazines.
How much would it cost to get a clearcoat for the entire body?

 

make sure you get it done at a good shop... I've seen a few cars with 5 or more layers of clearcoat and ended up turning yellow... OUCH!
