Default 92 Lexus SC300

Got a few questions for you guys. Surely someone here has some good input and can help. I have a 92 SC300 and need both door panels if anyone has any. And also I have a spare 2jGE that I would like to build but is that the best option? i would ultimately like to have 400-500 hp. Currently deployed and when i get home I am going to put some money in the car and make it my backup car to have fun with. Do i need to build the motor? The compression test is good but you think its good to boost? I found some Soarer headlights on ebay that I would like to put in my car. Do they bolt right in? Some input would be much appreciated and some door panels if anyone knows about any! Thanks!

You need to do a lot of research, or pay someone to do the work. Honestly, its a lot of work. If you're shooting for 5-600 on a GE, you are going to need to do something with the bottom end IMO, Twin turbo rods and pistons are bolt in, and will work just fine. They are a lower compression piston. So throw those in there, spend some money on getting the head and block machined. Then you are going to need ARP's and a head gasket. A factory TT gasket would probably be okay, but I would do something a little more agressive. I am shooting for 500whp and am using ARP's and a stock TT gasket.
There is a lot to learn, and a lot of the information is out there. you just have to do a lot of reading. All of the things you need or want to buy, need to go in a WTB: thread in the classifieds.

try to find some Australia/New Zealand.websites/forums, the 1UZ-FE gets a lot more attention over there, because VEE-ATE.

they have kits in various sizes to produce X amounts of HP. its gonna be costly having this shipped to the USA but thats up to you. also the guy above had a great solution, I know a local guy that can build a system, but its gonna be from scratch $$$

good luck.
