Want to know if you guys knew any mods for the mass airflow sensor cause I wanted to run a 4" intake but can't cause of the sensor. If I take it off the car runs with retarded ignition... I know I can mount it on my charge pipe right before the throttle but my friend told me something about rewiring it so I won't need it.. Any suggestions? Or can someone elaborate on my friends theory

 

Run MAP ECU 3 and just get rid of it?

Run a reasonable sized air filter, and leave the Stock MAF for good drivability?

It crazy you even have to deal with this, since the earlier 1jz's like mine have a MAP sensor, so you can run any filter setup you want.
