Like i said it's not the AEM, Had AEM EMS in my car and the Only time i had issues was when i did the 12V mod.
You will get everything to work on that car if you jump couple of wires , no relay hard wiring is require.

1jz fires in batch, so why is only#1 cylinder is getting filled up with gasoline? Shouldn't it be 2 cylinders?

So even if it's seq why aren't the others cylinders full? The easiest thing to get your car running ON is an EMS because it tolerates alot of stuff , sensor etc...

^^^ Well mark told me #1 ,I still have the email that said #1 cylinder and that's what he over the phone when he had called me.

Ok so all the cylinders? i still don't think it's the AEM.

How about you guys undo all the relay that you guys have installed, And just jump the wires in the kick panel , undo 12V mod if there is any.

You should not have any gas in the cylinder.

Hi guys, I found this thread when researching the driftmotion AEM V2 so I figured I would bump it up instead of making a new one. I just have a few questions before I go ahead and buy the AEM

1. Will the factory 1j MAP and IAT work well with this if I want to run around 25psi or do you guys recommend getting the AEM 3.5 bar map sensor. I currently run 19 psi on my hy35 with stock everything on a jzz30 ecu tuned on an afc neo and it runs fine without any fcd or anything so I am assuming the stock sensors are fine?

2. Will the stock coils and iginiter work with this standalone or do you have to rewire the coils?

3. And lastly my engine harness is a jzz30 harness that has a lot of unnecessary wires removed from it. We actually took it and depinned the ecu plugs to remove things like emissions, cruise control, auto tranny stuff, etc. Basically anything it doesn't really need. Do you think the standalone will function ok when plugged in to such a harness?

Get a 3.5bar and be done. get the gm iat sensor and weld iat bung on the ic and you're golden.

Yes, No you don't have to rewire.

and Yes ! You good to go.
