Default Is my sc lowered?

Hello all,

Been browsing all the forums and I recently came across some pictures of stock sc's and surprisingly mines look like it has been lowered comparing the pictures to others.

Looking below, can you guys chime in on what you think and if it is, which one? I am assuming right now the supra ones since as far as I've been reading they are interchangeable. However, I am not sure. The shocks and springs themselves look stock; doesn't look like aftermarket springs like eibach's or teins were installed or anything. Is there any visible number or anything I can look on the shocks/springs to tell?

I want to throw some enkei rct4 18" wheels on it and if it is lowered, i'd put it on right now. I never did put it on because I bought the car stock and thought I would need to lower it for it to even look good.

Thanks all. Wheels I believe are stock with 225/55 tires.

Chances are if everything looks stock on the springs and struts, it probably its. Unless the person that had the car before you did a supra tt shock/spring swap..

stock, if you think its lowered could be that your suspension is blown

Thanks for the quick replies. As far as I know, it is stock. My suspension still rides soft so I don't think it's blown. Since I've seen these pics I have googled them a bit and it seems mines sit lower for some reason. I guess it could just be me. I feel like if I plug 18s in there, they will fit perfectly.

I'm looking at pictures like these and the gap is very significant. I just wasn't sure.

Looks like OEM suspension and OEM wheels, but whoever owned the car before you might have replaced the tires with slightly taller sizing (probably cheaper at Pep Boys or something).

You can easily tell if your suspension is blown by pushing down on the front fender or rear fender quickly. If you can bounce it back up and down like it's springy and you can almost lower the car on your own just by pushing down, it's blown; but if you have to put a lot of effort into pushing it back down after the first time, it's probably still OK.
