Tonight I did some polishing of the SC foglight housings. I got them down to 1000 grit, now I just have to do a 2000 grit wet, then some polishing compound.
I found a 3m sanding kit with velcro that works perfectly on my little 90* angle grinder. It's small enough to fit in the back of the lens.
I will post some pics tomorrow night.

i painted the inside of the big plastic housings, yes.
i painted the inside of the plastic housings, painted the es300 projectors, and painted the chrome surround.
i also grinded the insides of the front lenses smooth, and i'm polishing them clear.
also, unless you have the perfect tools (1/4" chuck *90 air grinder, velcro sanding wheel kit, and 3m polishing kit) this front lens inside grinding/polishing is WAY too much work. i think if i did it over again i'd just polish the FRONT of the sc300 fog lenses and put them back on the car.
And for anyone curious, i have about $166 in this project so far, including the HIDs:
$50 in the es300 projectors
$8 in RTV for the back
$18 in the grinder sanding kit
$20 in the 3m headlight polishing kit
$70 in the 3000k HID bulbs for the fogs
= $166

the finish on the outside is pretty good. the inside is what's difficult.
they look pretty good, but they're not perfect.
i also installed a bolt on the bottom of them that reaches up and touches the projector, so you can aim them up and down as well. (already had screws for left and right)

97 fogs and he priced it out as such
if youd like the projectors i have some for sale in classified or you can make him an offer for the setup as a whole as hes not happy with the turn out.... its a ton of labor/man hours into what he did with the lenses and setup.

yeah i've got almost $200 in the project, and i already had the 97 fogs.
they actually look pretty good in the daylight. i wasn't really happen with them up close inside my house, but on the car you don't really notice the little imperfections.
i'll sell them for $250 if someone wants, or $100 plus some stock 97 fogs. they're not QUITE perfect (as you can see in the pics) and i'm OCD about stuff like this.
and because i acquired all this sanding/polishing stuff, i'm going to polish my headlights, but i will NOT be de-lining them. way too much work
