ok so update on the door problem.. i think its got to do with the lock, but i need some help pinpointing it.
so when the door has this problem closing, if i go to lock the door it automatically unlocks (which is normal so you cant get locked out correct?) and the door will close fine after clicking the lock button on the door handle.
so my guess at this point is that the lock gets stuck somehow?

but here lies another problem.. once i click the lock button and get the door closed, the lock gets stuck and the door wont unlock unless i fiddle with it with the key from the outside.

so my guess is its got to do with the whole door lock, or maybe a particular part of it?

if you pull the handle prior to closing the door it will close properly right?

I have the same situation, it has to do with the metal rod and plastic piece that allow your door to close and open. pull the door panel and make sure to lube up that plastic joint, and make sure the metal rod isn't bent.

I'm just too lazy because my custom door panels weigh around 50lbs each

If lubing doesn't work, then go to a junk yard and look for a spare lock mechanism. The whole unit should be replaceable and you shouldn't have to change the lock cylinder.

i think this sounds like my problem. i didnt realize that pulling the handle fixed it, so i tried that and seems to be working... so far. when i get a chance ill take the panel off and check it.
Thanks !
