Hopefully someone can help me out,I have a sc300 na-t auto and someone locally is selling a aristo (jdm) gte swap..

I'm interested in just buying the auto trans as a backup,I've read that I could use the aristo auto trans on the sc300 swapping valve bodies,and using a sc400 driveshaft, if any of you guys know the trans code/stamp please let me know,just to make sure I'm getting the correct trans, the one he's selling is 30-40le ,thanks for the help guys

 

Search A340le or a341le on The Australian forums, there is a definitive A transmission list.

Yeah you either get an A341, or an A340. They are the same, and like you said the sc400 parts like the output shaft will have to be swapped.

The GTE Auto Transmissions have an extra clutch pack to handle turbo torque, get it!

 

im bumping this up, i have 97sc300 na-t and just trying to get this str8. so like stated above i would need to switch valve bodies, sc400 driveshaft, gte tq converter and GTE aristo tranny?

 

Yes that's it aristo gte trans,gte torque converter. Sc400 driveshaft so it bolts right up..
But for me swapping valve bodies from my stock auto to the aristo trans because I'm Obd1 93 sc,my trans isn't electronic.

I don't know if your obd2 sc has a different valve body?

 

did you have to extend the sc400 driveshaft at all?

 

This is funny I bought chizz95's SC from him two months ago and he gave me the Aristo Tranny with it...I would also like to know what you would have to do exactly to swap the tranny. But honestly if I were gonna swap it I would just go R154 :-D
