To all:
There are a set of tan SC seats currently being offered on a well known auction site from a seller in the SF Bay area (for a starting bid of $1500.) Looking at the picture, the rears do not appear to be from an SC. They look like an LS. Upon asking the seller to confirm, he blasted me for asking him to confirm, and said he would not sell them to me. That is a sign of a buisness which may not be legit.

Now from all the parts books I have, these do not appear to be rear SC seats, and it looks like the seller is pulling a fast one, so, I just wanted to let anyone out there be aware of this. This seller has changed ID in the last month, which should give a hint.

Hope this helps. I have only been cheated one time on the well know auction site by a dishonest seller, so I am not one to take face value as "word" anymore.

I did not know this has been discussed yet, but the auction is running down, and I did not anyone to be "suckered". Deception is something that I find irritating at best.

You will note the center arm rest on the "fakes".... BIG giveaway.

Seller Confessed and realized that they are seats from a LS model.
He did not realize it when posted them as SC seats.
He said I threaten him when I pointed this out to him and to confirm exactly which model the seats came from. I guess he did not like to be stand corrected!
What an ******** he was!

Thanks for your note, I believe most people are honest, but it just takes one rotten apple to leave a taste in the mouth.... which is hard to get rid of. Maybe this flake will blow away......

 

darn it, if it was still up, I would have suggested to all of you who have accounts to nicely, just as a regular question, ask about the rear seats...heheh imagine getting at leat 50-100 emails from totally different ppl asking/correcting you about the same issue.. muahaha, ok I stop harrasing people now..
