Default new member question about intake and head

Is it a common swap for a GTE intake manifold to a GE head, or even possible? I know the exhaust wont work because of the space between cyl #3 and #4. Also what are the drawbacks from the GE head compared to the GTE.

It's been covered several times before..The bolt pattern is different..If you want to do some fabricating to get it to work, then might as well just get a GE FFIM...

Welcome to the forum. Please use the search function before posting a new thread.
Try search terms like GTE vs GE or GTE intake.
The exhaust and intake manifolds do not interchange from GTE to GE. the heads flow mostly the same, the GE has a distributor, and the GTE has 2 cam sensors. There are many aftermarket intakes for the GE motor now from a variety of vendors, so you don't have to hack up a GTE intake to fit a GE anymore.
