i tried searching but haven't found any good info, but i know the v8 tundra comes with a340e as well. So i was thinking with the v8 motor that maybe they built a bit stronger transmission then they did with the sc300.

I did find that on a tundra forum quite a few 00-03 or maybe 02 change to the 04+ transmission since whatever breaks in the 00 tranny is said to be stronger in the 04. So basically im wondering if anyone ventured down this path, heard something etc or even knew where i can find transmission parts/rebuild kits to try to check part numbers etc to see if they match or differ.
