Man, you interior guys really waste no time eh? Maybe cuz all of us in the LM pay too much for our houses and have no money left over for mods LOL

Thanks to everyone who's commented so far! Build has gone extremely slow lately but lots of updates to come. I promise it'll be semi-complete and running soon and I'll make a video haha. My Wilwood proportioning valve came a few days ago so my ABS delete can commence

Really liking the build, but can I please ask a favor that will help you out in the long run?
Please - I beg you, put the Harmonic balancer back on. I had severe engine failure that ultimately lead to the crank pulley being aftermarket. There have been MANY cases of this, on supraforums, and across the internet. I don't want to see you lose a motor because of something that costs $10. The amount of power you will gain from that pulley alone is miniscule. Probably in the range of 0.0001WHP.

Just trying to help. The build looks awesome, and I am going to follow, but I would STRONGLY suggest putting the harmonic balancer back on. There is a reason it was on there from the factory, these engines were meant to have it.

^^ Don't worry, it won't be on there for long. I've had a lot of people tell me that it's dangerous but Aaron from DM has specifically told me that there has never been a word of failure due to his pulley (this is the V2 at that). But yeah... I'm already planning my future engine build (knife edge, machining, pistons, rods, etc) and an ATI Super Damper is in the works... in fact, it's the next thing on the list once the car is back on the road (I don't drive this thing too often lol). Anyways, more updates!!

Got a new Samsung Galaxy Nexus and took a pano of the shop.

Nice shot of the exhaust made by JBDR. Got some nicer tips coming.

Fender harness being tucked to avoid rubbing issues.

Oil pan off to be resealed (oil leaks) and have oil sensor bung installed.

JBDR downpipe... mm love sexy welds.

Final location of wastegate and screamer pipe... tight fit trying to make the water lines work for the cooling ports.

Getting better with every update, downpipe looks great!

Have to ask - how much of a PITA is removing and resealing the oil pan? Mine is seeping and has started a slow drip - so getting it resealed is one of my priorities this spring. I've read it can be a 10-hour job...

Took us roughly 3.5 hours (guestimate cause it was also cleaned and a bung welded on before it was resealed). Just take the subframe out and lift the engine up (you don't have to take it out, just lift it up a few inches). That way it will have clearance for you to unbolt the pan and slide it out. Shouldn't be 10 hours!

BTW!! Car flippin started today after being under the scalpel for the last 3-4 months. I got a video of it running. It's damn loud cause the exhaust isn't done, the intercooler/piping isn't on yet, my body kit is off and I have my ****ty spare wheels on (not to mention, my car hasn't been washed since October). But god, does it ever feel great to see your project come together.

The battery is relocated to the trunk but the battery wasn't in at the time so it was just running off of the jumper box. I got those Vertex canards you mentioned, rcchris7, thanks
