Default Safe RPMs lower limit?

Hi all, upon reassembling my intake, TB, etc. I'm getting intermittent low startup idle, say 250 RPM. I know this can be caused by all sorts of things.

All I want to know is what is the lowest a 2JZ can idle without risk of damage? These motors don't rev high anyway so I'm assuming 250 RPM is fine if not a little bit shaky?

Any ideas?

IACV sounds stuck...
Do you have a wideband by any chance? Mine idles around 250rpm and does 12.2:1 AFR whenever the valve acts screwy.

Sigh. I tried to open the IACV today to inspect and test it with my bench supply but those damn screws must be made out of lead or something and I stripped two of them even using the proper bit. I needed the car running right away so I just slapped everything back together and capped off the IACV and intake runner 'periscope' because the tube cracked.

I also deleted EGR which I plan on re-enabling and re-routing in a more sane way than putting some dumbass horizontal pipe in the intake right next to where PCV blow-by gases come in. /rant

I'm not asking about lugging, been there done that. I just wanna know if it's safe in the short or long run to idle at around 250 RPM with these engines, because that's what it's doing.

Peace.
