Default Hello all, from a Newbie!

Hi everybody!
I know that there was a place to introduce myself somewhere on the site, but somehow didn't get back to it in the sign in process. I figured I'd just do it this way.
My handle's Hoosier58, but my name is Steve. I live in Colorado, and will take delivery of my first Lexus either tonignt or tomorrow --- a '94 SC300 --- I've been driving mostly Toyota products since the early '80's though, but like cars in general, and haven't been completely loyal.

I just found this deal on the SC300, in pretty decent shape, for $1500, and couldn't pass it by!
It's a bummer, but my wife and daughter will probably drive it more than me, because my daily driver is a 3/4 ton van for work ---- but I do plan to drive it a LOT more than I drive my wife's '02 Camry!

I turn my own wrenches as much as possible, and have been a member on forums of several other vehicles i've owned (Japanese, European and American), where I've learned a lot, and also, I hope, helped others. I hope I can contribute here as well ---- but will probably start by picking your brains about a few cosmetic/interior issues that I'm going to have to address soon on this SC bargain buy.

I hope to make some friends here, too.

Steve

Welcome to the forum. You'll find a lot of helpful advice on here. But to help you find it, I've moved you to your new home. The SC 400/300 forum. They know a lot more about your car than those of us in the 430 forum.

Welcome Steve!

Hoosier living in Colorado? Not in Indy? Jk
Congrats on the lex nice find! Get the preventive maintenance done first, but before you do all that, post some pix of the car when you pick her up.
