Default heater work without an a/c condenser?

i need to replace my condenser but i was curious if the heater will still work without the hard lines from the dryer hooked to a condenser?

Heater will work. A/C and Heater are different circuit.

As juanikin said, yes you still have heating. That system runs off water pump & engine coolant.

what about keeping moisture out of the cabin for like defrost purposes?

Yeah, unfortunately you won't have that, since the A/C is also a bit of a dehumidifier. Sucks when it rains, since you'll probably need to crack the windows.
