Default Dark fluid leaking from car

Hi all,

I'm new here to the forum. I have a 1992 Lexus SC400 with 158k miles on it. Have had it since 1995. I love this car! My problem is that it has started to leak something. Not sure what. It is in the center and dark. I guess it could be oil or from the rack and pinion. Any ideas? The mechanic said one of my struts is leaking too and quoted me $600 to replace both of the front struts = ( Any suggestions? thanks!

You are better off get 4 new Tokicos. All four should be under $400.
