Hey everybody,
Just bought a 1993 SC300 5 speed and don't really know Jack about working on this car. She's ugly, stinks, and doesn't drive yet, but she's mine. Wanted this car for awhile and have been looking on your website for about 6 months. Hoping to learn a lot from you guys

HI guys,
Bought my 1999 Sc300 about a week ago. I really love the way these cars look lowered with some nice rims. The previous owner kept up on the maintenance so it currently doesn't need anything. He did mention the brakes will need to be done in the next 6 months so I ordered front and rear cross drilled/slotted rotors with ceramic pads. I'm also going to change out the exhaust soon.

Thanks for the love fellas, The TB and water pump were the first thing I did aside a oil change. The PO never even had a coolant flush and the car was at 152*** miles when I got it. I've never been burned by it but I've always maintained my car before doing anything. Nothing better than a "nice" car sitting pretty on the side of the road. I'm putting on the next brakes hopefully in the next week , I will begin a Build thread at that time.

New SC400 Owner
Hey guys just thought I'd introduce myself. I've only owned one car besides this one (and it was a cavalier!) so I have a lot to learn but I'm willing. Anything I can DIY I will attempt to!
Anyway, it's a 93 SC400 Auto with 207k miles 95+ tails. It has 20" boss rims and some kind of lowered suspension (probably the cheap kind). Looks like a duraflex demon kit on it, which I'm not too fond of. The fitment isn't bad so I'm thinking of only replacing the front bumper and possibly refitting the rest because I hate the way the front looks. But I don't think it's necessary to replace the whole kit because the sides and rear look okay besides some minor fitment. I'm thinking a quality front (shine or vertex) The interior needs work but not horrible. It had no forward drive so I had the transmission inspected and apparently it's ****ed so I'm rebuilding the Trans right now through a friend who owns a shop (he's only charging me 1400 for the overhaul and to fix any leaks). Well Yea. Lol.
