Default New to this forum---92 SC400

I thought that I had done this but oh well, my memory isnt what it was. I joined and already have been helped by the excellent people on here. I have a 92 sc400 that I bought around january for 1300 dollars,I knew it needed some work and first thing I did was the timing belt/water pump routine. During that job I noticed that it had a broken main crossmember,it was being held together by about a half inch of alluminum,so I changed it.Have had a couple other little problems but nothing else major and thanks again for all the help you guys are so generous with-----PaulK.

Post New to the forums; About to buy an SC

Hi my names Pete, 17, Living in Las Vegas. New here and I don't have an SC but I am going to look at a 1993 SC400 today that had a bad transmission removed. I'm buying it off a very good friend and I'm getting it for a steal. I'd be getting a complete car minus the trans for $1000. It's sitting at a dealership because it was inspected. No red flags, or yellow for that matter were raised. It's going to be my first car and I want to know, Where should I begin to look for a replacement trans? Are there any reputable online stores? Thanks

pete, im from vegas too, i just picked up a 93 SC400, theres a guy parting out an SC you can see if he still has a transmission. I was going to pick up some window regulators from him but didn't have the time to yesterday. You'll love the car, My sc just slides for days i love it. The power is there and the suspension is really nice and tight for stock. Coming from a slammed fwd scion xb, to a Big LS400 yacht and now to an SC im having the time of my life with it. hope you pick it up, such a great car.

Default [INTRO] whats up SC drivers?

Hey, what's up guys and gals? I just picked up my first Lexus. Its a 1994 SC300. I ended up getting it for $1050 in Austin, TX. After putting $73.24 into it (turn signal bulb, R134A, headlight polish, a wash, and washers for the tilt motor) its running like a champ. Its bone stock for now, but mods will come in time. I also have a built 2008 Mustang. I'm a certified Ford, BMW, and VW technician, forced out of the business by the VA. If you have any ideas/suggestions feel free to leave a reply. ALSO, if anyone is I'm the 210, please note that. Thanks.

Glad to say I am going through with the purchase, I just put down a deposit and June 5th is when it's mine I think we may be talking about the same dude. I called him earlier today, he says $150 for the trans BUT he says hes going to charge $40/hr aprox. 6hrs. (That's his shops rate) to pull the trans. So $390 total. He also added that he'll give it to me for $150 flat if he sells the engine because he's gotta pull the trans out anyway to sell the engine. So I'll wait for the right time to strike. Thanks Though. I'll attach a couple pics I snapped, they are only exterior shots because the gates for the dealership close at 7:30 p.m. and I got there 7:25. Tomorrow, I'm going early to take more pics. Minor things like a cracked windshield, tore up seats (expected for a 20 year old car) and 2 small dents.

Default 94 sc300

My name is Earl and I just recently purchased a 94 sc300. Currently residing in north FLA. Didn't pay much for the car but I love it. The modification that I've done at this point is replacing the factory speakers and head unit for an indash DVD Bluetooth Sony unit. Pics will be posted soon.

Hello, I have a 93 Sc300. It's in a rebuild phase and I need a engine wiring harness! I have had no luck anywhere with these. Can someone please email me at Cory.stork@gmail.com if you have any where abouts to where I could get one. Thank you
