Gl with the build, nice snag on the interior looks like you been putting in work. What was the deal with the wheels?
Very NICE, making progress I see? I'm feeling the Varrstoens, looks similiar to another CL member huh? Eliteskill?

Looks like a good project for you so far. And just so you know the Varrstoen's clear LS400/Supra brakes just fine. I had the same Varrstoen's on my SC in 18s and another guy here in Vegas has them with the brake upgrade as well with no spacers. Not sure who told you that lol. They would have looked good on your car. Not sure why you sold them.

I like the look, but stretching my tires wouldnt be freindly on the wallet. I have two other cars where tires are expensive and im just not going to go that route with this car. For now its my daily which means i want somehing practical. I miss those varrs, but i was disappointed when i mounted them on my freinds TT Supra and they wouldnt clear the fronts.

I had first hand experience.......I put them on myself on a MKIV Supra TT. It actually turned off a potential buyer. At first glance they appeared to fit but when you turned the spoke, the face of the supra caliper brushed up against the back of the Varrstoen. I guessed you would need a 3mm spacer
My offset was a +22.
Besides the point, this was a daily driver. Ive had negative experiences with stretching tires over rims. My other car has the stretched look, 20" x 11 HRE on a P295/25/20. Im fine with the rims i have on now. I'd rather put my $$$$ towards the engine swap

When i first bought them this spring, they werent too many examples of SC300 fitments on the web. I could not find a decent picture of how they looked with the +22 offset. When i mounted it, it didnt look like it was going to work. Someone did tell me the wheel would tuck in. But then again I didnt want something that aggressive. Its a real killer on the wallet when you trying to ball in three different vehicle. I wanted something simpler.
Plus the issue with the Supra Brake Clearance bothered me. Thus i sold them for more than i paid for.....so it wasn't a total loss.

It sounds like a great list of stuff that you got planned for this build. Keep up the good work and good luck.
