If you spray it with a big enough shot of N2O as mentioned, you can raise the factory stall at the track and still have a nice DD converter. More power, higher effective stall.

Just go with a TH400 tranny.

The BL Toyo autos have really proven themselves on the last few years, you could run 8's with a Toyo tranny! And they are not that expensive!

alot of good info in here, im understanding the auto trans a bit better. i considered spraying it, i may resort to that as a worst case scenario. and im running a driftmotion 60-1 .70/.70ar garrett

and i have a few friends that run the th400 or 350 in their supras, the th400 is def. the best of all of the options for a daily though. im staying away from BL because my other friend has gone through 4 of their trans's.. all they do is modify a few of the internals. its not like titan where they cnc new oil galleys.. still id trust american transmissions over toyota's
