Check out Blackhawk midnight metallic, it's very popular on Acura and Honda, factory color, looks black 90%of time unless you are under the sun and you will see a deep dark blue with metallic flakes. It is also one of the best colors to repair deep scratches, bumper scrapes, paint transfer from poles and such.
You should really be asking yourself if you want the black paint to be single-stage, with clearcoat, metallic, non-metallic, etc...
These factors will affect not only how the paint looks, but also its longevity and required maintenance. Also remember not all paint is the same, some is very soft like the Lexus onyx black (no clear) which is very easy to swirl and scratch, and some is very hard like many German paints that have ceramic clearcoats that are tough as nails.
For instance, BMW Jet Black is extremely beautiful and is considered one of the prettiest black paints available, but it's also one of the softest (OEM) and worst to work with in terms of polishing and upkeep (keeping swirl free, etc.)
I had my Cuda painted back in 1999, the shop used Sikkens which I believe is what BMW and Mercedes uses. Anyways, car was sprayed with 4 coats black, about 6 coats clear, then I spent 2 days wet sanding to a mirror. Been washed 3 times in 11 years.
