Default Replacing Rack And Pinion Boot

Got a tear in the passenger side Rack and Pinion Boot, aka Bellow for a 95 SC 400. It's clean though so no leaking fluids. Searched the forums and can't find a write up on DIY repair. Assuming you have to take the tie-rod end off, will it mess up the alignment?
Looked on the autozone website for the EZ-Boot, but nothing, I'd rather put an original boot on it.
Anyone have experience replacing these?
Also I assume it got damaged with flying debris or rocks, and my guide skirt underneath the car needs to be replaced soon, so I may modify it so that it will cover the boots, good idea?

yes you have to take off the tierod end and if you dnt put it back exactly were you get it from the you going to need alignment. Mark it before you take it off.

Instead of taking the tie rods off and marking it, why can't I just leave them on and slip the boot over the ends using grease/motor oil?

Saw these on youtube
