Beside/under the amplifier inside the rear fender well, and on the left side also, there is a black plastic housing that opens to a hole in the fenderwell. You can look behind the tires and see into this black plastic thing. What is it???

One of mine is flopping around loose and some road grime has been thrown up into the interior fender well. I'm glad I found out. You can push on them from the tire side to see if they are secure or not.

 

I saw that black box too but I don't know wut it does. But I do know that there is a tube that carries runoff. my tube has a bad seal so when it rains, the whole compartment floods

I'm currently trying to replace the seal.

 

That's a one way air vent, there should be a plastic bag type material that stops stuff from coming in, but flaps up to let air out.

It basically allows air to escape the car when you slam the door, so the door closes all the way.

Is it covering the opening at the fenderwell, or somewhere inside the box?

I do see a grimey tube that is going into some opening beside that black box. When it rains it floods in that compartment
