Like the bracket is loose? Pedal shifts left to right? or there is slack in the pedal?

If its slack, adjust the cable on the throttle body. If its the bracket, there are 2-10mm bolts on the right side of the pedal assembly, simply tighten them down.

No the pedal is pretty sturdy, but if u put ur foot on the gas, theres about an inch of play before u hit the throttle.

Then the cable needs to be tightened up. Not hard to do, 12mm or 14mm wrench. If you tighten it down all the way and there is still alot of slack, pick up a new cable. Wish I had a stock TB to show an example on how to tighten, but you will see the 2 nuts and the cable when you look at the TB.

Same thing happens with my clutch pedal. Is it a similar fix?

No, the clutch pedal is hydraulic, but will have some adjustment on the pushrod underneath the dash. Try bleeding the clutch first, if it doesnt help, try adjusting the pushrod.

I just changed my slave cylinder today, I had to pump the clutch for a while to get the pressure back in the pedal.
