I dont agree that they are ugly but i do know exactly what he means.

With those stock wheels the car is definitely not a head turner.

Hey get a nice set of rims and then get 97 sides from the dealer , theyre only 300 and change.

If you have a front lip already your good to go

yea so its not cheap way to go.
didn't forget; comparing a tt auto to a gte auto swapped sc.
you'll add 6 grand for a tt-6, and I can't find a tt auto for under 18k.

And single turbo for that price ya right. Even then you would still need breaks and a good tranny and all the other stuff.
proof that you're doing it wrong.

Look up TheKevin's SC. I always see it in person and that thing is a beast. I'd even say it looks better than my '95.

I guess I'm one of those rare people that like the look of the 92-96's better than the 97-00's. I think that they have a beautiful, and timeless design. Every time I look at the old Lexus commercials for the SC on youtube, I'm reminded of how people must have felt when it first came out.

Get rid of those stock wheels, drop it down a bit, and maybe add some 97-00 side skirts. You're good to go.

97+ sides for $300 from the dealer!? You'll only get one side.

97 kit is your answer, but expect to pay around $800-1000 including paint. I'm not sure how your current paint is considering you have a soon to be 20 year old car but it might be time to paint the whole thing. Then boost that number to $2500-3500.

Build a time machine and go back to 1992, tell me how the SC looked like compare to other cars on the road. The SC looked like it was from the future and that why they didn't do any major changes on looks. Adding 19 years to the future, of course, time will catch up to the car. SC were never ugly to begin with it.

Think about how many cars from 1992 that would be still considered sleek, sexy, and timeless TODAY... Yeah I bet you will only be able to come up with a single handful if you're lucky... back in 1992 most cars still looked like turd square wagons on wheels. I bet when the SC came out it looked like something from a completely different world.
