New here - great site!
I'm new here, just found the site today. It's amazing how many answers I've already gotten simply reading through the first 8 or so pages of this forum!!!!
I just got a '92 SC400 this past Friday. The car has 48,800 on the clock and has been taken care of. I bought the car for $10k from the CEO of my company who rarely drove the thing, mostly house employees.
The car has some of the apparent problems that come with these cars... center console has play, one of the front lights has condensation, etc. I've printed a bunch of the threads and plan to disassemble the bad light this weekend.
One question about the light thing that I didn't find searching through the threads. Well, maybe I found it but there seemed to be contrasting opinions on it. The housing is wet (condensation), not dirty. Do I really need to disassemble the housing? or just pull of the car and re-seal? Will it clear up on it's own if I re-seal? I imagine I probably need to do the whole thing, I'm just afraid of paying for a new light assembly should I brake something along the way.
I'll do some searches to try and find the part numbers to replace my taillights... that's something I want to do pretty quick. So far this site looks to be very helpful!!! Thanks a lot!!!

if their is condesation and not dirt then just take out the headlight assembly and use a hair dryer, an air compressor, your breath, or whatever to get the condesation to dry up.
After completing this take a silicon glue/sealant and just apply a smooth layer over the existing glue. So no you do not need to bake your headlight like a loaf of bread if it is not dirty. You have caught the problem early in its life and have saved yourself some time and possibly some money.
Goodluck with the headlight and welcome to clublexus!
