Custom Veilside Exhaust installed...
Well folks, I finally got around to installing the Veilside Titanitum Exhausts...
I have many more picts (and in high res) but for now, I think these will give you a good idea...
2.25" mandrel bent full cat back piping with a custom flange and Y-pipe. Great work...definitely can't complain...used stock hanger locations too.
Since the emblems on the Veilside exhaust are designed to only face one direction correctly, I had them install it with the logos at a 45 degree inward angle (so the labels point towards the license plate)...why? Because once I get the body kit on there, you won't be able to see the labels...I'd rather have that then have one label either be upside down or have both labels facing to the driver side...
First off, the exhaust sounds GREAT! AWESOME deep sound that you can FEEL...HOWEVER, it is WAY, WAY too loud! I mean seriously loud...I was following my GS430 and even when the GS430 was at WOT (with the APEXi WS exhaust), all I could hear was the SC...the GS might as well had the stock exhaust system...and that was with the GS's exhaust tip next to me on the freeway with my driver side window rolled down!
Even my buddy who was driving the GS430 said he could hear my exhaust over the GS's!
So to say the least, I'm going to have some Maganflow resonators added in (14" units I believe). Hopefully, that will bring it down to reasonable levels....
But man does it sound good!!
Anyways, onto pictures....here it is installed...

My exhaust is very similar to that loud but as it was not design for a non turbo car boost shoud kill some of the noise
. The difference with mine is the pipeing is bigger but the assend of the car looks GREAT , if you decide to quiet it down some use borola mufflers in line and the difference will surprise you.

Hehehehe someone else pulled their resonators and found the hidden Camaro in their exhaust system. Magnaflow resonators will not do the job, manaray. There isn't much I can tell you about quieting it down at this point because when I was in the same situation I put in my Magnaflow mufflers, which DO cut down noise dramatically. Their resonators don't work in that situation, however.
