exhaust system loudness
what type of exhuast system should i get for my 1995 sc400?
i want loudness but not droany-ness on the highway
also i dont really care for power output
extractors give power?? but maybe more loudness?
also since there are so many cats on the system.... how many do u actually need to comply with environmental safety standards?
also if u remove all or one (which one) would it give a fault reading on the dash??

I have the top speed pro 1's and they look good and sound good but I plan on ripping out the v-8 asap because it's so gutless and to answer your question yes headers will help the sound and power output quite a bit as the stock manifolds are restrictive and choked with way to many cats so being your car is a 95 and not obd2 you should be able to pull the cats out with no issue as long as there is no o2 sensor after any of the cats and even if there is you just need an o2 fooler .

i have top speed pro 1 rear mufflers with all the resonators cut out. it's great it sounds some were between a 351 and an ls3 sound wise and is quiet when cruising plus it's never raspy. headers or extractors should only make the car louder if it deletes the cats though they will change the exhaust note to some degree. also i have the primary cats in place.
