u got it! haha no i did not bend it myself, i got the piping from autozone, and used a vac sensor adapter for the hoses and i spent about 30 bucks (not including the cone, i had one laying around the garage from a previous customer who never came to get it)
it did make a lil diff, not a huge difference, it idles smoother, sounds louder but a clean loud, nothing nasty sounding
the main difference that i like tho is when i floor it or accel faster i can feel the push alot stronger and the pick up is better. havnt noticed anything on gas mileage
im trying to find the right angle pipes to be able to run from under the headlight and have the cone/filter more towards the bottom for cleaner colder air

thanks everyone
i was running a BFI at first, probably one of the first mods i ever did to my sc, but i wanted a little more a look to it and since my bfi was just straight open in the front i was collecting alot of stuff in it, so instead of getting an aftermarket filter for the stock box i just made this instead
and xspsi6 from your setup it does seem ud get more power cuz u have more air flow and the intake is closer, only thing about that is youll be sucking up alot of hot air comming off the engine, look around for a heat shield or get some piping and move it closer to the front of the car for some colder air

@bigbang if ur 92+ ull need a maf adapter i think it was 95+ that got the round maf, if you have the round maf jus put the filter on and ur set.
wont get much of a deeper sound though because lexus designed the intake tube to have a built in silencer ( located on the bottom of the tube box looking thing)

actually come to think of it, if your runing the round maf getting an aluminum pipe and going to the maf and another tube then filter would be slightly easier than 92, there is enough gap between the headlight for about a 3" tube to go under
will get much better sound with an aluminum tube
