Default Question on Supra Suspension Set Up

Alright so I got my hands on a set of Supra MK4 NA shocks and springs

Was planning on installing in my SC400 but then did some research and turns out there is a different between the NA and the TT regards to spring rates and so on.

The set up is brand new from 1997- one week old and been instorage since then.

Is the set up worth $250 even if its NA.

Im on Mega coilovers right now but need a set up for DD

I love the drop of the TT shocks/springs. Should I just try the NA set up cause its pretty much brand new or go for something else

Thanks for the input

I believe the NA springs are softer so the car may sit uber low. I remember we put a set of TT shocks with tein lowering springs on a NA supra and it actually raised the car. Yet the same shocks and springs lowered my soarer.

IMO it may drop the car to much. But one will only know by trying before buying

At that price, I would say give it a shot, but hold on to your c/o's. Worst case scenerio, you dont like them, swap them back out and sell them.

The n/a springs should be softer as shima said, so in theory it should drop a bit more than the TT springs, but should still be semi-comfortable for daily driving.

Which setup has the soft spring rate, Supra?

Just a guess with all the power options, leather, etc on the SC.

Any TT setups on nice wheels with a good stance?

Thanks for the input everyone. Im going with this set up and picking up a set of 2008 sc430 wheels for my winter set up.

Will be different from coilovers and 19x9 and 19x10.5 SSR SP3 for sure!

I will update with pictures as soon as I swap

IIRC, the front TT springs are slightly stiffer and/or taller due to the slightly heavier engine, but I think that's the only difference. I remember one of my friends with an N/A supra put TT springs on because he was going back to stock, and found that it sat about a half inch higher in the front than it did stock.
