That is a very nice SC. I love the two-tone interior on the 97+'s.

The two-tone black and tan interior is indeed a factory option only available on the 97+ SC's. I've seen quite a few SC's with that combination and I even test drove a 97 RSP SC300 that had the same interior. I even saw it in an old Lexus brochure that showed it as an option as well.

my wife's Black '97 has this identical interior. it came two-tone just like that.

the previous owner must has swapped two black front seats in it though. that's the only thing i see any different.

No kidding. Two tones definitely came factory on some cars. Matt (Neurocity) had a 97 black SC that was a factory two tone.... and plenty of others too.

By the way, that is an absolutely gorgeous SC. I would keep that thing all original and not mess with mods of any sorts. Thank god I got my SC with over 120k on it back about 5 years ago... had I gotten one that was this and low mileage I would not wanna modify it haha.

Yes indeed a factory option. I had the same interior on my 97 sc300 until i swapped everything for black
