Also noticed that you wanted to hit 400 whp. Just use 440cc injectors off a 2j. Its cheaper and will get you 400 to the wheels no problem

Quote: WOW!!!! Not gonna lie dude. Thats kinda high for a 1j. I have had two 2jzgte setups on 2 different cars with a single setup for cheaper. The garrett gt35 would be a goos choice. Had a gt40 on one of my setups fully tuned and it just had way to much lag.
The one i am currently building is a 2jzgte with custom pistons/rods. r154 trans mission. 60-1(for now) single turbo kit. custom intercooler setup. + fuel and Labor... It adds up fast

I have had a 1jz T78 sc and the lag didnt bother me one bit.
I plan to run a borg warner within a month of the project being complete.

But yeah, I am interested in DREW's new setup not my own.

I have a sc getting a gte/r154/single setup right now. It has a kaaz 2 way, BV toe and traction, solid diff bush, stance coils...
I am curious to see your setup..
Well turbo, piping, exhaust,ems, fuel,bov,wg. About 4k

If your only shooting for 400hp, why go with an overkill of 850cc injectors? 550's would be more than enough, and 440's should be safe...1cc per hp

why spend the money twice if you can do it once and be done with and have room to grow if you want more power.
Overkill is great on fuel system if your computer can control it, and you can tune it.
if he goes 550 now 3 months later decides he want 600rwhp then what happen? he will have to remove the 550 try to sell them on here and then order some large size injectors.
Do it now or do it later
Always over build your setup, so you don't have push the injectors, turbo to the edge.

I want 500rwhp i get 1000cc injectors , i want 800rwhp i get 1600cc and 1k rwhp 2150cc.

Very good point!!! i want 500rwhp on pump so i will have to take my fuel rail back out n replace it with the new hks 1J rail with denso 720cc

That's correct since the 1jzgte and 2jzgte uses side feed injectors and 95% of the aftermarket injectors are low imp and top feed so you will need a resistor box unless you buy some high impedance injectors but you will have to get an aftermarket fuel rail to accept the the top feed injectors.

You can get some Sard high impedance injectors that are side feed but they are crazy expensive .

ya, what quicksc said on the injectors just making room for the future. I don't want to buy things twice.

also thanks for the comments. all the work is being done by battle version, so I pop my head in there every now and again. will get more pics next trip.
