Default Finally pulling the trigger on Body Work!!

Ok, so i got a sweet deal on body work and paint. So before the lexus meet in LA im getting it done so its fresh. Im stuck though on asthetics...should I go OEM (im 97+ right now) or should i go with the vertex or shine? I currently have a vented seibon tsII hood (plans for much needed ventilation on the v8 to come ).

so what do yall think, OEM with a custom-ish lip, Vertex or Shine??? Im sitting pretty plush maybe a tad poke right now on 19's.

Im a big OEM advocate. Doesnt mean it looks like best, Just what I prefer.

Its Polyethylene so if you car is slammed out you can ram it into stuff and it just goes right back into place. Fiberglass just shatters and splinters in to 1000 piece's

if your going for a clean look go with auto couture shine or oem 97 with a lip but if you want more of a mean look vertex is the way to go i say the 97 vertex lip kit all around.

I voted for Shine BUT....

Too many Vertex kits. Why not try something similar like the Origin-Lab kits:
Stylish Kit

Stream Kit

i would stick with 97 oem all the way.

No worries about quality, fitment and at a Thousand dollars or so brand new they arent very expensive either

I like the clean look of them also.

i think since you have more of an aggressive look with the vented a more agressive kit would be best. i vote origin or vertex

Nothing fits like OEM will. I have a Vertex rep on my rear right now and the fitment bothers me. Shine looks like they make a good quality product for our cars - but you can't ignore the fact they're hurting the originators of the kit by doing so. The Origin Stream kit also looks like an interesting option, especially considering the price.

My ranking according to your poll would be:

1. OEM 97+
2. Authentic Vertex
3. Auto Couture or Shine Auto Project
4. Origin Stream
