Bad economies bring out 2 sets of consumers:
The "Everything I have is an investment and worth more than fair market value because it has something that makes it special" seller
and
The "Everything should be on sale because money is tight" buyer.
The craigslist seller obviously falls into the first category.

stock 5 speed with that low mileage is unheard of. but i think he has it about 1500 2000 overpriced. the only 5 speeds i see around here are usually about 4500 5000 and way higher mileage and not to clean. and their always at dealers.

I agree with bleedspeed it's overpriced but extremely rare for the miles thst low . 5 spd hard to find and one with those miles had to be driven gently I'd say older person like me lol. Owned it. I'd love a 5 spd car but by the time you put rims on it and suspension you would have 10000 I'n a stock perform

More than another SC? Why? Because the miles are low? It really doesn't matter because 62k is not 10k or 15k... It doesn't fall into the collector category (if there is such a thing for SCs YET).
And with age, it really doesn't matter what kind of miles are on it. I spent several thousand on maintenance alone (discounted Lexus parts....free/cheap labor) and I bet that car needs/will need a few grand of maintenance also. So it doesn't make sense to pay top dollar for that car.

Everyone always complains that out cars are going down in value but thats because they ussualy have high mileage.
Im ussualy hard on sellers for asking too much but in this case i wont say a thing.
When you have a clean sc with low mileage you can ask what u want basically.
Is i his price too high? Im not so sure about that.
Would u rather spend 4-5 grand for a 5pd that needs work and has higher mileage? In the end you will lose.
This car will sell im sure.

hey if the motor is healthy with good compression across the board it would be a perfect candidate for a na-t haha

so exited , i don't know what to do...
hey guys i spoke with the owner today, he said that the car was always maintained at the dealer, with all dealer parts, and runs like new,new clutch, brakes...etc, he even offered to take it to my mechanic if i want too, so i guess i ll definitely look forward to it, because i think it makes more sense if ill pay a thousand $ extra and get the rare car like that, with the low miles, than pay a thousand cheaper and get 150k miles...
